Composed of limestone affected by frosting and soils based on a type of sandstone, with rolled pebbles over 40 cm in depth, this soil gives open wines with mellow tannins combining fineness and personality.
The schisty marls
Established on the Fenouillèdes caving-in, the Albien-Aptien schisty marls are interpolated with sandstone layers often of blackish color. Composed of limestone affected by frosting installed on black marls and thick clay stratums, they give acidulous, smooth wines with a lot of delicacy.
